The LaunchX Summer Program is a prestigious entrepreneurship program designed for high school students passionate about launching real startups. Over the course of 4 to 5 weeks, participants collaborate in teams to identify business opportunities, develop products or services, and gain traction in the market. The program emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and a curriculum that covers essential aspects of entrepreneurship, including market research, product development, and business strategy. ​

The Management & Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI)

Overview:

The Management & Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI) is a prestigious, for-credit summer program offered by the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology. It is designed for high-achieving high school students, primarily rising seniors, who are interested in exploring the intersection of business and engineering.

 

Program Highlights:

• Duration: 3 weeks

• Location: University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia

• Eligibility: Rising high school seniors and select juniors

• Curriculum: Taught by faculty from both Wharton and Penn Engineering

• Experiential Learning: Students work in teams to design and prototype a high-tech product, develop a business plan, and present their venture to a panel of faculty and industry experts

• College Credit: Participants earn one unit of college credit

• Residential Experience: Students live on campus, engage in extracurricular activities, and experience campus life at Penn

M&TSI is highly selective and seeks students with strong academic records, demonstrated leadership, and a passion for innovation in both business and technology.
